What are the meanings of adhesive electrolysis and non adhesive electrolysis for FPC soft boards

Time:2023-12-04Views:

Electrolytic copper is made by pre making thick plates of crude copper (containing 99% copper) as the anode, thin sheets of pure copper as the cathode, and using a mixture of sulfuric acid and copper sulfate as the electrolyte. After being electrified, copper dissolves into copper ions (Cu) from the anode and moves towards the cathode. Upon reaching the cathode, it gains electrons and precipitates pure copper (also known as electrolytic copper) at the cathode.

What are the meanings of adhesive electrolysis and non adhesive electrolysis for FPC soft boards

Electrolytic copper, as the name suggests, is a copper foil formed by adsorbing copper ions onto the substrate through electrolysis. Therefore, its characteristics are: strong conductivity, but relatively weak bending resistance, and electrolytic copper turns red. Copper is the most widely used and widely used in the electrical and electronic industries, accounting for more than half of the total consumption. Used for winding various cables and wires, motors and transformers, switches, and printed circuit boards.
