The main purpose of vacuum aluminum coating film is to replace pure aluminum foil composite, giving soft packaging printed materials an elegant silver white luster, and reducing packaging printing costs while improving the barrier and shading properties of soft packaging film bags (aluminum coating film instrument is 0.4~0.6) μ m. Only about 1/150) 25% of the amount of pure aluminum foil used.
The PCB sampling manufacturer tells you that there are two common vacuum aluminum plating methods:
One is vacuum aluminum plating after printing, which involves reverse inner printing on the surface of the thin film, followed by aluminum plating, and then composite with the bottom film;
The second is to directly imprint on the surface of the thin film, and then dry composite it with the vacuum aluminum plated bottom film. But this method requires the use of materials such as CPP and PE with good heat resistance and heat sealing for the bottom film.
No matter what method is used, the composite packaging printed products can only be provided to customers as finished products without peeling off the skin or glue. With the continuous expansion of the product, the packaging printing quality and delivery time requirements are also constantly improving, while the selling price is gradually decreasing. For packaging and printing enterprises, it is crucial to prioritize selecting materials with lower costs as much as possible, while ensuring timely delivery. For example, when using ink and glue, it is better to purchase low-priced materials rather than unprofitable auxiliary materials after use. Therefore, almost no one checks or inspects the procurement channels, and one of the obvious faults that lead to the low-quality and scrapping of aluminum coated film packaging and printing products is detachment and peeling. Regarding this issue, the author will introduce the causes and solutions of the following faults, in order to communicate with packaging and printing colleagues.
For example, PET film, printing ink, vacuum aluminum plating, coating and PE (as a heat sealing bottom film material) are combined. As a result, after printing with colored ink, all the printed white ink (or yellow ink) on the full plate are bonded to the adhesive, causing separation (peeling) between PET and the bottom film. Another situation is that the thin layer of printing ink film has good adhesion after compounding with the PE of the bottom film, while the thick layer of ink film has poor adhesion (poor adhesion).
